About the role: 

Our aim at Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is to be a high performing and accountable healthcare network that operates to Australian benchmark standards delivering reliable and respectful care. A great opportunity to join the team in Endoscopy as either a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse within SALHN. Providing nursing and/or midwifery services in a variety of Health service settings which has been consolidated by experience and/or further study.

As the Registered Nurse, you will assist with providing professional high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options. It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced staff, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing care. Consolidating your knowledge and skills, you will develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team.

Endoscopy experience highly desired and Day surgery, theatre and/or recovery experience encouraged to apply. We are looking for passionate, hardworking, committed nurses to join our team in dynamic environment.

• Ability to work within a team framework that fosters an environment that develops staff potential.
• Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing consumer/client and family centred care.
• Skills in using computers and software relevant to the area of practice.

To be considered for the RN2C (Clinical Nurse) level you must have at least three years, full time equivalent, post registration experience with experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
