Join our vibrant and enthusiastic Allied Health Team and broaden your experience as you provide podiatry services in wide range of clinical settings.

As a Podiatrist at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network (YNLHN), you will get the opportunity to work with a clinically diverse caseload from paediatrics through to inpatient, outpatient, NDIS, high risk, biomechanics, telehealth and residential care, broadening your experience as you provide podiatry services in wide range of clinical settings.

We value peer support and clinical supervision and ensure this is embedded in practice for all our staff. YNLHN Podiatrists are given the opportunity to develop independent working skills as well as being connected to a team with wide ranging interests and experience.

You will get opportunities to:

  • See the sites across the YNLHN area, through providing regional outreach clinics
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to find solutions to complex clinical needs, supporting positive consumer outcomes.
  • Develop skills across all aspects of podiatry including high risk foot care, paediatrics, biomechanics, residential care, outpatient clinics and inpatients.
  • Participate in ongoing service provision and improvement projects
  • Contribute to the profession through student placements and projects, and work experience opportunities.
  • Opportunities to engage in ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be eligible for full practising membership of the relevant Professional Association. 
  • For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. 
  • For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuous professional development program.

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
