Join us in Port Pirie as an Aboriginal Chronic Disease Coordinator and play a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of Aboriginal people.

In this rewarding role, you will use your clinical expertise to promote the early detection, prevention, and management of chronic diseases. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll contribute to culturally sensitive health programs that make a tangible difference in people’s lives. You'll lead by example, guide less experienced staff, and help implement practice changes for better health outcomes.

Essential Criteria

  • RN/M2A: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, or eligibility to do so, and at least 3 years of post-registration experience and proven competence in nursing practice and the ability to supervise less experienced nurses.

  • AHP2: Recognised qualification in a relevant Allied Health profession with current practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.
