Join Our Team as a Cook!

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food services that meet the needs of our community. You’ll ensure the efficient and effective production and distribution of meals, maintaining the highest standards of quality. Your responsibilities will include ordering non-imprest food supplies, plating meals with care, selecting enticing menu options, and overseeing quality control throughout the food production process. Join us in creating delicious and nutritious meals that make a difference!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade qualifications or equivalent skills as a Cook  
  • Previous experience in preparing and cooking bulk meals.
  • Experience overseeing staff.
  • Knowledge of preparing meals for various dietary requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to exercise judgment and initiative in day-to-day operations.

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either WHA4 or WHA5 and the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 50 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
