About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Urology Nurse Consultant to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. In this pivotal role, you will utilise your extensive clinical knowledge and expertise to coordinate the delivery of high-quality care for Urology patients. You will be responsible for providing professional nursing advice, managing delegations of care, and addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy, ensuring optimal patient outcomes across a variety of clinical settings, including ward inpatients and outpatients.

As a Urology Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and support within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll have a significant degree of autonomy in your decision-making, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will be valued, and your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and the quality of service provided. About You

We’re looking for a highly skilled and passionate Urology Nurse Consultant who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Proven leadership skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
  • Experience working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
