About the Role
Are you passionate about driving innovation and managing cutting-edge facilities? La Trobe University is seeking a dynamic Innovation HUB Manager to oversee our Bio Innovation Hub and Digital Innovation Hub, providing vital support to early-stage biotech companies and industry partners.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing PC2 laboratory and office spaces, engaging with commercial clients, ensuring compliance, and facilitating technical support. You will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration between internal stakeholders, industry partners, and research teams to drive new business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee office and laboratory spaces, ensuring smooth operations and compliance
- Provide technical support and engagement for commercial clients and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to enable new business initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and business continuity planning
- Lead procurement, resource management, and emergency response coordination
- Represent the university in commercial sector negotiations and networking
About You
We are looking for an experienced and strategic leader with:
- A degree and extensive management experience, or equivalent qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders
- Experience in laboratory management, safety compliance, and PC2-certified environments
- A track record in strategic planning, business operations, and staff development
- Experience in commercial sector engagement and industry partnership.
