About the role
Based at our Wingfield site, we are seeking an Operator to join our team in a full time, permanent position. Your day to day tasks will include operating plant and equipment within our facility to treat medical waste, whilst also maintaining a high level of safety and housekeeping standards. With varied daily tasks, you will sort and load/unload medical waste collected from our broad customer base. This may include tasks such as transferring waste from collection containers both large and small.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Availability for day shift commencing at 7am, Monday to Friday
- The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently with our diverse team
- Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
- Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check
We are seeking someone who can display a superior commitment to safety and who will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. This role is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to be upskilled and cross trained within the business.
Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This will include Covid (2 shots minimum), Flu Shot and Hepatitis A & B.
