The Opportunity
Based in Geelong VIC, the Operations Supervisor will assist the Operation Manager in leading our operations team, focusing on driving client and customer satisfaction, promoting safety and well-being, and delivering financial and business growth. This role will be Full Time Monday to Friday between 7am to 3pm. Some of the responsibilities as below.
- Coordinating and scheduling day to day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedule.
- Deliver driver debriefs, OHS reporting, council meetings and incident management.
- Lead and conduct ToolBox meetings.
- Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets.
- Lead high level of customer service within the team and with our internal and external stakeholders, investigate and resolve service issues.
- Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of all scopes of work with the aim to deliver exceptional service delivery.
Your skills and experience
We're seeking a bright go-getter with a can-do attitude, ideally with experience in dealing with drivers. While industry experience is not mandatory, we value someone who is a likable team player and gets along well with everyone. Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Proven experience in an operations or supervisory role, ideally within transport, logistics, or waste management environment is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff management and scheduling, with a focus on safety and productivity.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively within internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to respond to internal and external stakeholders calls out of hours when required.
