Within our Industrial and Waste Services Division we provide total waste management business solutions to our clients including industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV!
We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Darra! In this role, you’ll report to our Branch Manager and play a hands-on part in keeping our operations running smoothly. You’ll take the lead on a variety of responsibilities that are essential to our success and have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.
- Make safety your number one priority and ensure everyone's working in a safe environment.
- Supervise and coordinate daily industrial services operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and waste management activities.
- Lead and support a team of technicians and operators to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Monitor job progress, resource allocation, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to job performance, safety, and equipment usage.
Your Skills and Experience
We’re looking for a motivated leader with a positive, can-do attitude who thrives in a team environment. Industry experience is essential to be successful in this role.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a supervisory role, ideally in Industrial Services industry.
- Proven experience in industrial services or a related field, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., White Card, confined space, vac loading, HPWJ, working at heights) are highly regarded.
- Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to have difficult conversations and support a team of around 10 operators
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation, with the ability to work independently and prioritise safety above all else
- Ideally some exposure to P&L/branch financials
- Teamwork – work across multiple departments and build relationships
