The Opportunity 

We’re looking for a number of skilled Operators to join our team at our Auburn transfer station.
The shifts available are
Monday to Friday - 6am-2pm/9am - 5pm/ 2pm -10pm
These hands-on roles are ideal for someone experienced with heavy machinery and keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Some of the responsibilities are as below. 

• Operate machinery such as excavators, material handler's, Backhoe.
• Forklift licence ideal
• Pushing material around
• Sorting material as required, general housekeeping duties
• Carry out daily cover operations, including the mixing and application of cover materials
• Conduct basic site maintenance and assist with manual handling tasks when required

About You 

• A valid plant operator ticket or equivalent competency of at least two-three of the above (VOC, RII, etc.)
• Forklift Licence ideal
• Previous experience in the earthomoving or construction industry advantageous
• Ability to work well in a team and follow operational plans
• A professional presentation and manner with a strong focus on safety
• Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
