About Us

Join us at Cleanaway and contribute to making a sustainable future possible, together.

We transform waste into resources and renewable energy.  When you start to think of waste as a resource, it opens a world of possibilities.

As a high growth, ASX listed organisation with over 10,000 employees, our goal is to be recognised by our customers as the most innovative and sustainable waste management company with industry leading HSE performance.  We are Australia’s largest company in this sector, providing essential services to millions of customers and communities nationally

About Your New Role:

We’re on the lookout for a driven and dynamic Territory Manager to join our Commercial & Industrial team in Hobart! This is your chance to play a key role in growing Cleanaway’s footprint across Tasmania by delivering sustainable waste management solutions to businesses of all shapes and sizes.

As a Territory Manager, you'll lead from the front, building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and bringing innovative, sustainable services to new and existing clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hitting the road to grow our customer base through face-to-face business development.
  • Managing and nurturing relationships with both new prospects and existing clients.
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth and increase market share.
  • Reporting on your pipeline, wins, and activity—keeping things accurate and up to date.
  • Using Salesforce to track opportunities, manage leads, and keep your portfolio humming.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a confident communicator with a natural flair for sales and relationship-building. You don’t need waste industry experience—we’ll teach you that—but you do need a passion for getting results and making a difference.

You’ll also bring:

  • A solid track record in B2B sales, with a focus on hitting (or smashing!) targets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule.
  • A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
  • Resilience, initiative, and an enthusiastic, proactive attitude.
