The Opportunity

You will become part of our experienced and supportive Oils and Technical Services team as a Territory Manager, reporting to the Field Sales Manager.  Cleanaway’s OTS business assists customers across various industries by providing environmentally sustainable solutions for liquid and hazardous chemical waste. Our New South Wales operations include a network of waste management sites that hold a significant market share. Mainly covering Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney, you will: 

  • Develop and nurture relationships with current and new prospective customers within Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects and major resigns being negotiated
  • Drive our sustainable approach to waste management in new areas to support growth initiatives
  • Proactively manage prospects and customer relationships through the sales cycle
  • Network between Cleanaway business units to ensure solutions are available to all large projects
  • Provide reporting on financial and sales performance

 

About You

Along with your ability to build and maintain genuine working relationships with customers, you will also be able to identify and solve customer challenges through sustainable solutions.  You will also bring:

  • Excellent B2B relationship skills with a proven track record of building and retaining existing business
  • Experience and understanding of the Technical Waste Industry or Transport & Logistics would be highly regarded
  • Effective commercial acumen, solid negotiating and influencing skills
  • Experience using (CRM) Customer Relationship Management software and intermediate MS Office skills would be advantageous
  • A collaborative communication style with an outstanding new business/sales track record
  • The ability to work autonomously, well organised, self-motivated, with outstanding presentation skills and highly developed verbal and written communication skills
