The Opportunity

Based in Birba Lake, WA, this hands-on, high-impact Branch Manager role carries full accountability for both operational and financial performance across a critical 24/7 site.

You’ll lead a multi-million-dollar operation comprising a wash line, autoclave, Shredding, and a fleet of vehicles. The operation is supported by a workforce comprised of truck drivers and operators, as well as operational leaders and on-site shared services personnel.

Your mission is to set the tone for operational excellence by prioritising safety, building culture, and driving performance through clear, values-led leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading site transformation with full P&L ownership, bringing deep commercial oversight and accountability.
  • Driving strategy, culture, and high performance across a critical state-based facility.
  • Coaching and developing a diverse workforce, including plant, logistics, operations, sales, and shared services, fostering cross-functional collaboration and a unified direction.
  • Building alignment between day-to-day operations and broader business strategy.
  • Strengthening environmental, safety, and risk management in a tightly regulated environment, including oversight of Environmental Protection Plans (EPPs), EPA waste thresholds, storage capacity, burn-off limits, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
  • Representing the site confidently across senior leadership meetings, customer engagements, and frontline walk-throughs

About You

You bring:

  • Expert-level experience managing large-scale operations with full P&L accountability, you don’t just understand the numbers; you lead through them.
  • Proven commercial acumen with a strong track record of margin growth and operational efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of compliance, audit, and risk frameworks, particularly in regulated or industrial settings.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Confidence leading in matrixed or regulated environments. Experience in healthcare, logistics, national DCs, waste services, or similar industries is highly regarded.
