Territory Manager – Dromana

This is a business development role, through and through.

We’re on the hunt for a confident, driven Territory Manager to own and grow the Bayside region based at Dromana. If you thrive on winning new business, love being out in the field, and get a genuine buzz from closing deals, this one’s for you.

This isn’t an account management role with a bit of sales on the side. This is a front-foot, go-get-it, build-your-patch-from-the-ground-up opportunity. You’ll be responsible for expanding Cleanaway’s footprint across small and medium-sized businesses, identifying opportunities others might miss, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships.

You’ll have the autonomy to run your territory like it’s your own business, with the backing of a national brand and sustainable solutions that customers genuinely need.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Proactively prospecting and generating new business opportunities across your territory.
• Spending the majority of your time on the road, meeting customers face-to-face and building strong pipelines.
• Confidently pitching solutions, negotiating, and closing deals.
• Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
• Developing and executing a clear territory growth plan.
• Keeping your pipeline active, accurate, and moving through Salesforce.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a genuine business development mindset, someone who loves the chase, the win, and the satisfaction of building something from the ground up. You’re a natural hunter who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone, knock on doors, and start conversations. You bring confidence and resilience, handling objections without losing momentum, and you know how to build strong relationships while keeping a sharp commercial focus.

You’re self-motivated and accountable, taking ownership rather than waiting to be directed.

Waste industry experience isn’t essential, we’ll teach you that. What truly matters is your drive, your confidence, and your hunger to grow a territory and make your mark.

You’ll also bring:

• A solid track record in B2B sales, with a focus on hitting (or smashing!) targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own schedule.
• A current driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle.
• Resilience, initiative, and an enthusiastic, proactive attitude.
