About the role

This role works closely with both finance and operations, supporting the delivery of accurate reporting and meaningful commercial insight. You’ll assist with month-end activities, budgeting and forecasting processes, and help translate financial results into clear information that supports operational decision-making. It’s a hands-on opportunity to build strong exposure to commercial partnering in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting month-end processes, budgets and forecasts alongside the Commercial Business Partner
• Assisting with variance analysis and investigating key movements in performance
• Preparing and maintaining monthly reporting packs and dashboards
• Translating financial data into clear, practical insights for operational teams
• Partnering with stakeholders to track performance and improve accountability
• Providing ad hoc analysis to support business decisions
• Identifying opportunities to streamline reporting and improve processes

About you

You’re someone who enjoys working with numbers but is equally comfortable engaging with people. You’re building your accounting career and are keen to deepen your commercial understanding in a role that gives you exposure to both finance and operations. You take pride in accuracy, ask thoughtful questions, and are motivated to learn in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

• You’ve got a background in accounting
• You're analytical, curious, and confident interpreting data (even when it’s not perfect)
• You’re resilient, self-sufficient, and know how to prioritise when the pressure’s on
• You’re a clear communicator who can engage with all levels of the business
• Working towards your CPA
