The Opportunity
Based in Crestmead we are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our Parts Washer operations, supporting the automotive and industrial sector. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering exceptional service, improving operational efficiency, and building a high-performing team.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading day-to-day site operations to meet service and contractual requirements
- Driving operational efficiencies to improve performance, cost outcomes, and customer service
- Ensuring compliance across safety, equipment, licensing, and site standards
- Managing workforce planning, rostering, and resource utilisation
- Managing scheduled service delivery across customer sites
- Monitoring costs, contributing to revenue performance, and reporting operational metrics
- Supporting incident investigations and maintaining strong safety practices
- Leading, developing, and coaching a team to achieve operational and safety goals
About You
You’re a customer-focused, self-starting leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys taking ownership. Confident working independently, you bring experience leading operational teams and are motivated by the opportunity to grow a site and make a measurable impact.
We’re looking for someone from an industrial, manufacturing, or mining background who brings a strong process mindset—able to assess current operations, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance.

- Proven leadership experience in an operational environment
- Background or exposure to industrial, manufacturing, production, or engineering settings
- Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A genuine commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement

- A process-driven mindset with the ability to improve and optimise operations
