• Fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating day-to-day operations

Your new role:

• Coordinate transport services to ensure our client’s requirements are met
• Liaise with the workshop in relation to service and maintenance requirements
• Ensure drivers complete Daily Inspection Reports before commencing work
• Manage the computerised run sheet program to ensure all services are up to date
• Monitor driver and equipment cleanliness and presentation
• Ensure drivers have been deemed competent and correctly licensed for the operation of relevant equipment

Your skills and experience:

• Knowledge of fatigue management and transport regulations for the operation of heavy vehicles
• Effective computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent customer service and organisation skills
• Transportation Background: Extensive experience in the transportation industry, with a deep understanding of daily logistics route scheduling.
• Proven ability in scheduling of fleet servicing requirements to maintain operational standards of equipment.
• Risk Management: Proven ability to identify and mitigate potential transportation risks.
• Knowledge and understanding of NHVAS processes and maintaining compliance with those standards. (This could include factors such as record keeping and maintaining real-time data sets)
• Safety Management: Proven track record in maintaining a strong safety culture and minimising accidents or incidents. Meeting all reporting & escalation requirements.
• Proficiency in collaborating across different departments and functions within an organisation. Building effective teams & improving work outcomes.
