The Opportunity

As a Inside Sales Specialist, you'll be responsible for converting inbound enquiries and qualified web leads into new SME customers across Australia.

You'll own the customer relationship from the initial sale through the first three months, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and partnering with internal teams to resolve any account, billing, charge, or service-related enquiries.

Your success will be measured through contract growth, sales activity, pipeline management, and your ability to consistently achieve and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound enquiries and qualified web leads into new business contracts.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of SME customers nationally.
  • Close sales over the phone and confidently negotiate customer solutions.
  • Manage and nurture customer relationships throughout the first three months following contract commencement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve onboarding, billing, account, and service-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within Salesforce.
  • Achieve contract, revenue, activity, and KPI targets.
  • Participate in regular sales huddles, coaching sessions, training, and performance discussions.
  • Respond to incoming calls, including redirecting customer enquiries where required.
  • Identify opportunities to sell multiple products and services to maximise customer value.

 

This hybrid role is currently based on St Kilda Road and will soon transition to our Docklands office, conveniently located near Southern Cross Station.

 

About You:

You’re motivated, driven, and passionate about delivering great customer experiences. You enjoy building relationships, working towards targets, and being part of an ambitious and supportive team.

You’ll bring with you:

  • Experience in a high-volume sales, telesales, or business development environment.
  • A proven ability to close deals and consistently achieve sales targets.
  • Experience selling multiple products or solution-based offerings.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A customer-first approach and a knack for building rapport quickly.
  • Strong CRM experience, ideally with Salesforce.
  • A resilient mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • A passion for earning commission and being recognised for your success.
