The Opportunity
Support the delivery of health and safety initiatives, capability uplift and compliance outcomes across a selected business segment. You will partner with leaders to strengthen safety performance, culture and risk management practices.
- Partner with operational leaders to improve health and safety capability and culture
- Provide specialist health and safety advice and support across the business
- Support audits, assurance activities and regulator interactions
- Implement health and safety standards, tools and improvement initiatives
- Track and report health and safety performance and compliance activities
About You
You bring practical health and safety partnering experience in high-risk environments and enjoy influencing stakeholders to achieve safer outcomes.
- Postgraduate qualification (Minimum Cert IV) in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years health and safety business partnering experience
- Experience responding to safety incidents and supporting investigations
- Knowledge of health and safety legislation, standards and best practice
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing capability
- Experience supporting transformation or change programs
- Experience in waste, mining, manufacturing or other similar industries
