Your new role

• Environmental sampling, testing and monitoring of multiple sites for compliance with the site license conditions related to groundwater, surface water, landfill gas, noise and dust.
• Liaising with laboratories to ensure results are received, collated and reported in a timely manner.
• Responsible for removing refrigerant gas from recycled white goods, and sampling for asbestos.
• A very hands-on role, requiring travel around the sites on an almost daily basis.
• Flexibility and initiative are required, as you will largely work unsupervised, and interact with a large number of staff across the sites.

Your skills and experience

•  Experience in environmental sampling
• Tertiary qualifications in Environment or Science are not essential but will be highly regarded
• Trade qualification in refrigeration mechanics will be highly regarded
• Excellent oral and written skills are required
• Current drivers licence
