The Opportunity
Join our OTS Finance team as a Finance Manager and take ownership of a broad portfolio spanning people leadership, month-end delivery and commercial business partnering. Leading a team of three finance professionals, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information while providing timely insights that support informed business decisions.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner with senior commercial stakeholders, coach and develop your team, and help drive strong financial performance across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead, coach and develop three Finance professionals, building capability and a high-performing team.
- Drive the timely and accurate completion of month-end activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Deliver financial analysis and insights to support an accurate view of business performance and results.
- Partner with senior commercial and operational leaders, providing trusted financial advice and decision support.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, including analysis of performance and variances.
- Oversee financial reporting, periodical accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, supporting statutory and business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, accuracy and efficiency while supporting broader team and business objectives.
About You
You're an experienced finance professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial thinking and a genuine passion for business partnering. You're comfortable moving between month-end delivery, analysis and forward-looking planning, while building trusted relationships across the business.
You'll also be a confident people leader who enjoys developing others and creating a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
You'll bring:
- CA or CPA qualification, supported by tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong financial and management accounting knowledge, including consolidation, month-end and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and variance reporting.
Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop and manage a high-performing finance team.
- Strong commercial acumen and business-partnering skills, with the confidence to influence and work effectively with internal stakeholders.
- High standards of accuracy, organisation and accountability, with a results-focused and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Strong MS Office and finance systems capability; experience with TM1 or similar finance systems would be advantageous.
