Salesforce Events System Specialist Calabasas Campus
The Salesforce Events System Specialist will focus on the creation of events, management of the event system, development of best practices and deployment of standards for University event creators. The Salesforce Events System Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of event campaigns and event promotions including system administration, user training, and campaign reporting for Pepperdine University. The Salesforce Events System Specialist will implement all aspects of the platform, explore opportunities to increase the value of events as they relate to the overall Salesforce CRM initiative and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, create events when required, provide support to event managers, and conduct ongoing event data reporting. Integrated Marketing Communications is directly tasked with supporting the University's mission and strategic plan by building brand equity, elevating the University's national reputation, providing strong and consistent institutional message leadership, and implementing effective integrated marketing and communication strategies. Project Manager Malibu Campus
Under the direction of the Director of the Department of Design and Construction (DDC), and in collaboration with colleagues, the Project Manager manages design and construction projects such as additions, refurbishments, remodels, and new construction on University properties. Management will include planning through design, construction, and project closeout. Pepperdine University seeks applicants for the regular full-time position of Associate Laboratory Manager for the Natural Science Division of Seaver College, Malibu Campus. Candidates who are interested working full time in support of a busy but interesting scientific environment are encouraged to apply. The associate lab manager will partner with the laboratory manager to ensure facilities function well in support of teaching and research efforts in the science laboratories and stockroom. Associate University Librarian for Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation Malibu Campus
Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Associate University Librarian (AUL) for Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation oversees all aspects of the Special Collections, University Archives, and Preservation department. The AUL leads a team of faculty, staff, and student workers to conduct collection development, preservation, organization, description, access, instruction, promotion and outreach for cultural heritage materials held by the libraries, especially rare books and archival materials. The AUL provides administrative oversight and support by setting priorities, hiring and supervising staff, managing budget expenditures, developing policies and procedures, and grant-writing. The AUL works with the Dean of Libraries and the department’s faculty and staff to set a vision for the department, and promotes this vision to stakeholders, including donors, faculty, and researchers. The AUL also serves on the libraries’ senior leadership team, and integrates the work of the department with the library as a whole. Additionally, the AUL contributes to teaching, learning, and research on campus by hosting workshops, providing in-class instruction, and leading seminars using special collection materials. The AUL helps to maintain ties with the university’s local community and heritage by building collections that reflect these relationships.
