Head of Contact Centres Leeds
The Head of Contact Centres for Customer Service is a key role in NewDay, leading a team of senior managers and working with programme managers and BAs to deliver great customer service in an effortless way, to ensure our manifesto is fully embedded by engaging our people and drive digital adoption and prevent unnecessary calls/contacts into the centre to drive efficiency. The role holder is responsible for setting the strategic direction for contact channels and encourage our customers to use self-service options and digital adoption by creating a frictionless journey and effective features and capabilities in our other channels. The role includes responsibility for driving digital customer touch points across customer service and creation/use of robotic support both assisted and to prevent unnecessary contacts. This includes existing channels such as the online account manager, mobile app and voice IVR along with new channels such as web chat, RPA, IA and chat bots working with the Operational Excellence team to implement at pace.
Senior Specialist, Risk, Control and Regulatory Leeds

To produce bespoke written responses to customer complaints, converting investigatory notes and complex information into clear, concise customer communications written to NewDay standards, without error. To ensure  a high standard level of accuracy and grammar is sustained within our written communications. To proof read the responses of peers for accuracy of punctuation and grammar, and to ensure the response is written in a fresh, simple to understand modern style, using positive language throughout. To ensure complaints records are accurate and complete, customer outcomes are fair and reasonable and root causes are identified in order to prevent similar complaints in future and recognise systemic issues.
Senior Specialist, Digital Product Owner London
The Senior Specialist, Digital Product Owner will play a critical role in supporting digital delivery at NewDay. As Senior Specialist, Digital Product Owner you are the single point of contact for all digital change that takes place on the Own Brands digital acquisition platform. Data Science Specialist London
The Specialist Data Scientist will be a key contributor to a world class Decisioning team at NewDay. We embarked on the journey to build the function a few month ago, with large ambitions shared at all levels of the organisation. We have created the framework to start harvesting the value of multiple sources of data (structured and unstructured) and open source algorithms, and have started proving the value of Data Science. Now we are looking to build the team at scale. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively in a state of the art environment, You will support specific projects and will own some key elements of these projects (such as gather and wrangle the data, develop, test and implement the selected algorithms).. You will have the opportunity to work on a large range of projects covering the full customer lifecycle from pre-approval to customer management and collections, using tried and tested approaches (Linear and Logistics regression, GBM, random forest, Gaussian Mixture segmentaion…) and less so (Deep Learning, Genetic Algorithms, multi-objective optimisation…) trying to predict and explain many behaviours related to credit card usage. You will explore a variety of extensive datasets (we have millions of customers) to drive greater value through both improved customer outcome and commercial value. We will provide you training and mentoring to become familiar with the specificities of working in a financial services organisation and the algorithms and methodologies you don’t know yet. We expect you to be creative and innovative in your, but also pragmatic in your approach to the projects you will be working on.
