Job description:

The International Affairs team is responsible for leading Tasmania’s international trade relations and providing sound country intelligence for the state to be globally competitive. The International Affairs Advisor reports to the International Affairs Manager and works closely with the International Affairs Advisor, Economist, broader Trade and International Relations team, and key government and industry stakeholders, to support a range of international relations functions. The role has a particular focus on coordinating internationally oriented partnerships, such as delivering sister-state work programs and maximising engagement with policy institutes, think tanks and international business councils. The position requires strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as attention to detail and sound judgement.
