The incumbent is expected to provide comprehensive, integrated view of risks and enables management of risks across firm on a consistent basis and in line with business and strategic objectives.  Enterprise Risk Management is a structured approach to identifying, measuring, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and reporting on all risks facing BOC Life. It enables BOC Life to achieve its business and strategic objectives, while remaining within the risk appetite established and approved by management.

Key responsibilities include,

• Review and maintain the Risk Appetite, Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and risk reporting.
• Participate in ORSA process and oversee the overall Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policy framework.
• Conduct financial risk assessment and due diligence for new initiatives and products; consolidate results and design appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Manage the day-to-day activities related to process monitoring, workflow evaluation, and performance tracking.
• Lead and oversee tasks to ensure the successful implementation of risk management projects and systems
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant regulations and assess their implications

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial, Economics or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experiences with solid experience in risk management in Insurance or Financial Services industry.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills.
• Good attention to details for high accuracy.
• Detail oriented, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).

(Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager.)
