Compliance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice to the first line of defence on insurance regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders and participate/assist in regulatory compliance-related projects, product initiatives and system launch / enhancement, etc.
  • Review policies and procedures, compliance manuals etc. in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations
  • Conduct compliance reviews
  • Knowledge / experience on staff dealing, SFO disclosure of interests, FATCA/CRS and/or personal data privacy would be an advantage
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time


Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder or above in Insurance, Banking, Law or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years' experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in insurance, banking or regulatory bodies
  • Knowledge in insurance products, regulatory requirements and the market practice
  • Strong sense of ownership.  Good stakeholder management and communication skills with flexibility and adaptability to changes.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Applicants with less experience might be considered for an assistant manager role
