Overview:
RMU Athletics is looking for outgoing and qualified candidates who will serve as Ice Crew members at RMU Men’s and Women’s Hockey home games. Ice Crew members will work closely with the athletics marketing and Island Sports Center staffs to engage fans, support the home teams and ensure a smooth playing surface all while representing the University in a positive and dignified manner. Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities as follows. Clean ice surface during media timeouts as part of a larger crew in an efficient and effective manner. Assist ISC staff with pregame warmup puck pick up as well as with pregame and intermission net removal and reinstallation during Zamboni runs.Support team by engaging fans through cheers and flag waving. Provide instruction and engage fan base during post game “Skate with the Colonials.” Attendance on game days and at designated key events. Other assignments designated by athletic staff .
Minimum Qualifications:
High level of skating proficiency - All academic majors welcome
Academic Years Preferred: Any Academic Year Will Be Considered

Days of the Week to Work: Mainly Fridays, Saturdays with an occasional Sunday
