Asian Language BTEP Consortium Student Assistant - Federal Work Study Fullerton
The Asian Language Bilingual Teacher Education Program (BTEP) Consortium supports current and prospective K–12 teachers in obtaining an Asian language bilingual authorization at any CSU. The program is committed to expanding access to bilingual authorizations in languages including, but not limited to, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, Hmong, Khmer, and Tagalog. Through scholarships and intensive programmatic support, Asian Language BTEP advances inclusive, linguistically and culturally sustaining teacher preparation, affirming Asian languages as vital community and educational assets for California’s overgrowing multilingual student population. Under direct supervision, Student Assistants perform duties ranging from unskilled to skilled and/or specialized, in a variety of positions that typically require the use of manual, clerical, public contact, and/or analytical skill. Assignments have limited use of discretion and judgment. Work is regularly reviewed and may entail detailed instructions.
Communications/Marketing Student Assistant - Asian Language BTEP & NRCAL - FWS AY 26-27 Fullerton
Under the general supervision of the ALBTEP and NRCAL Program Coordinators, the Communications Student Assistant aids in the strategizing and execution of BTEP and NRCAL's online presence, increasing digital access to both programs' resources. This individual provides creative support for promotional activities as well as coordination assistance for educational events. This is an exciting opportunity for a federal work-study student who has strong writing skills and is interested in the interdisciplinary connections to be found between Communications and Asian language education.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the current Annual Security Report (ASR) is available for viewing at: https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. This report contains the current security and safety-related policy statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains statistics of Clery Act crimes for California State University, Fullerton for the last three (3) calendar years. Paper copies are available upon request at the CSUF Police Department.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR)
In addition, pursuant to the Higher Education Opportunity Act, the AFSR is also available at https://hr.fullerton.edu/risk-management/clery-act/. The purpose of this report is to disclose statistics for fires that occurred within California State University, Fullerton housing facilities for the last three (3) calendar years, and to distribute fire safety policies and procedures intended to promote safety on campus. A paper copy of the AFSR is available upon request by contacting the Housing Office located at The Housing & Residential Engagement Main Office.
