The anticipated work schedule for this position is flexible, typically between the hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

Some biology background is necessary.
Some basic academic training in biology and/or biochemistry is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise protocols.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new techniques and procedures.
We will provide sufficient training for candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and a passion for the role.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The position will require taking an RARC course as well as receiving some training by our lab, and listing on regulatory protocols monitored by UHS. Initial basic mouse husbandry will lead to involvement in breeding and possibly experimental work; cage cleaning etc is taken care of by other personnel. Other lab maintenance tasks can be used to generate work hours.
