Within the business hours of Monday-Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm, some evenings may be requested This position will work in a hybrid work environment (virtual and in-person work will be determined based on work needs).

Qualifications:

Candidates should be current graduate students at UW-Madison.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

-Knowledge of engagement, equity, inclusion, diversity, and employee well-being efforts that support organizational development.
-Ability to facilitate effective dialogue around engagement, equity, inclusion and diversity.
-Ability to develop and cultivate organizational and individual capacity to support equity, inclusion and employee well-being and reduce harm.
-Ability to communicate (verbal, nonverbal, written) effectively and build partnerships with various campus stakeholders.
-Ability to advocate for the prioritization of equity, inclusion and well-being in all policies, systems, environments, practices, procedures, services and programs to transform and improve the employee experience.

***Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to working for at least two academic years.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

-With direction from the EIEW team and in collaboration with the OHR communications and marketing team, support the development and management of the monthly EIEW newsletter.
-Assist the EIEW and OHR communication and marketing teams in updating and maintaining the EIEW webpage.
-Assist in grant writing and funding proposals for EIEW programs and efforts.
-Support the assessment, design and delivery of EIEW employee learning.
-Support the development of policies, systems, and programs to transform and improve the employee experience.
-Support the EIEW team with unit/department consultation requests across campus, as needed.
-Provide administrative and logistical support with EIEW events and programs, as needed.
