Qualifications:
|
• Currently enrolled as a student at UW–Madison (preferred) • Interest in animal care, especially horses • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays • Previous horse experience is helpful but not required—training provided • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
• Experience handling and caring for horses • Familiarity with basic equine health and behavior • Ability to recognize signs of illness or injury • Knowledge of barn safety and hygiene practices • CPR or First Aid certification (a plus)
