The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is located in the Medical Foundation Centennial Building near the UW Hospital. The department supports clinical and research faculty and hosts the CMP Graduate and Pathology Residency Programs. |

Flexible hours between 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday; 8-15 hours per week, based on student class schedule; preferably available to work more hours during summer break. |

Qualifications:
|
Must be a registered college student and remain in good academic standing. Students with an interest in medical sciences are encouraged to apply. Freshmen or Sophomores with interest in working the duration of college preferred. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
|
Must be dependable, organized and an effective communicator. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Duties include financial and curriculum support, basic office tasks (filing, data entry), assisting faculty and staff with miscellaneous academic and research projects, mail/package management and slide filing. Student hourly administrative assistants often work independently on a variety of projects with limited supervision.

Physical Demands:
|
Student administrative assistants deliver mail, including some packages, around the UW Hospital, MFCB, and WIMR buildings.
