You will be working at the yoga studio Main Street Yoga Center on the near East Side. We run yoga classes & series, including beginner classes. Nearly all work will be on site 3/4 miles from campus. You will need to secure your own transportation and arrive on time. |

Schedule:

The 10 - 15 hours per week are flexible within the following parameters:
You will be required to be on site at least 4 days per week.
You must have general availability for 80 percent of our class schedule (8:30am to 10:45am MWF, 11:30am - 1:30pm & 3:30 - 9:30pm Weekdays, Saturdays 8am to 1pm, Sundays 8am to 11am). You will not be working all these hours, but you should be available for 80% so you can cover necessary vacations by other workers.
In addition to financial compensation, you will receive unlimited free yoga classes during your tenure with us.
Documentation work may be done remotely. |

Qualifications:
|
Experience in the following areas is ideal: Customer Service, Customer Interaction, Writing Process Documentation, Organization of Physical Spaces, Cleaning, Retail Platforms, Training Workers, Creating Training Materials such as written documents & video. We understand that few will have experience in all of these areas. Your abilities will be more important than your experience, but you will be asked do demonstrate your FAFSA has been awarded & accepted upon applying. |
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

You should be conscientious (and know what "conscientious" means), have an incredible eye for detail (on computer & in physical space), a good memory, quick learning, decent social skills (interacting w/ customers), and ability to write process documentation.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
|
Checking People into Yoga Class Organizing & Cleaning Studio Quality Assurance for those doing similar tasks Customer Service Supply Management Personnel Coordination Event Announcement Coordination Updating Website Onboarding Individuals who also do the above tasks (after you've been on job a while) Creating Training Videos & Documentation After Onboarding others, you will move into a role of refining business processes.

Physical Demands:
|
Should be capable of basic cleaning tasks & carrying 30 pounds up two flights of stairs. These are not common tasks, but are good markers of physical capacities needed.
