Your next opportunity:
As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical assets to ensure safe and reliable plant operation. This hands-on role offers a diverse range of maintenance, fault-finding, and project work within a large industrial manufacturing environment.
What you will do:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose faults and carry out breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
- Install, upgrade, and commission electrical equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and site requirements.
- Maintain motors, drives, control systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant reliability and performance.
- Work closely with operations, reliability, mechanical maintenance, and engineering teams to achieve site objectives.
- Participate in intermittent shift work and provide support during plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.
What We Are Looking For
- A current Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Industrial electrical experience, preferably within manufacturing, mining, heavy industry, or related environments.
- Experience with motors, drives, motor control centres, and control systems.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team.
- An Electrical Supervisor's Licence or equivalent qualification will be highly regarded.
