Assist with continued development of QU’s compliance rules education program by helping to produce educational materials for athletics department staff, student-athletes, and outside groups as well as contribute to the monthly compliance newsletter;
Maintain student-athlete files (electronically in compliance software) and ensure that MAAC and NCAA documentation is up to date;
Review and approve official and unofficial recruiting visits;
Assist with Name, Image, and Likeness monitoring;
Review, monitor, and approve playing and practice season submissions;
Research waiver and interpretations of NCAA rules;
Assist with the athletic scholarship process;
Assist with the eligibility process
Assist with tracking student development participation
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative, complete time-sensitive matters, maintain confidential information and multitask under supervision.
Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook, Acrobat Adobe and Power Point
Experience working in an intercollegiate athletics department or as a student-athlete is preferred
Demonstrate a commitment to high ethical standards
Hours of Position:
Flexible based on class schedule
Up to 20 hours per week
