Job Title: School of Communications Content Creator

Responsibilities:
  • Attend events and set up shoots to gather photo and video for use in School promotion 
  • Create and maintain a shared archive so the media is available to multiple users 
  • Some design of social media posts using University approved design elements and templates may be involved 
  • Coordinate coverage from School calendar with SoC Communications & Outreach Assistant and the Dean’s Office 
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of principles of video/ photo production, lighting, audio, framing, etc.
  • Knowledge of various still and video camera technology, microphones, lights, tripods, etc
  • Editing skills in the Adobe Suite
Hours of Position:
  • Variable, based on event schedules
  • Average of 5 hours per week
