Adjunct Assistant Professor of Chemistry Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time faculty position in the Chemistry Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in lecture and/or lab for either Principles of Chemistry, General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II or Organic Chemistry. The ideal candidate would need to be able to teach face-to-face starting in Aug 2025 for the fall semester. The teaching assignment for fall 2025 includes a face to face Principles of Chemistry course (lecture and lab on MWF afternoons). All applications must be be submitted to the JCCC jobs portal.
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Astronomy Overland Park Main Campus
JCCC is looking for applicants for a part-time astronomy position in the Astronomy Department. The ideal candidate would be expected to instruct students in lecture and/or lab for either Fundamentals of Astronomy or Astronomy. The ideal candidate would need to be able to teach face-to-face and/or online starting in Jan 2025 for the spring semester. Director, Bursar Operations Overland Park Main Campus
Responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the Bursar’s Office of Johnson County Community College (JCCC). Responsibilities include directing all activities related to the Accounts Receivable and Student Financial Services functions, including billing, cashiering, collections, e-commerce, payment processing, refunding, tax reporting, and the campus card system.
Adjunct Japanese Professor Overland Park Main Campus
The Foreign Language department is seeking a Japanese adjunct professor to substitute and/or teach Elementary and Intermediate level Japanese language courses in the evening on Zoom or in person. JCCC is located in Overland Park, KS, the second largest city in the state of Kansas and part of the greater Kansas City Metro. The Kansas City Metro is known for its museums, restaurants, and music and art scenes. JCCC is similarly dedicated to creating and maintaining a rich cultural community, with an award-winning contemporary art museum and center for the performing arts located on campus. The Foreign Language Department is part of the Communications Division. Many of our students are non-traditional, military veterans, immigrants, international and first-generation college students. JCCC has a diverse student population and is dedicated to increasing its diversity. The successful applicant for this job will teach the equivalent of 5-10 credit hours per semester in Japanese or will serve as a substitute for day and/or evening courses. This person will perform other duties expected of adjunct faculty, to include collaborating and working successfully with other full-time and adjunct faculty in the Foreign Language department and other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities: Provide extra and co-curricular opportunities for Japanese language students. Participate in the planning and administration of all departmental initiatives. Participate in on-campus events promoting languages. Complete ACTFL and/or other departmental training. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Candidates will be interviewed using zoom and will be asked to demonstrate a 30 minute Zoom class.
Police Officer Overland Park Main Campus
Provide law enforcement and public safety services to the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) community. This includes enforcement of criminal statutes with full arrest authority, parking and traffic enforcement, crime prevention, patrol activity, accident investigation, resolution of domestic and other disturbances, prosecution support, non-criminal public safety services, and enforcement of college policies, rules, and regulations.
Manager, Lifetime Fitness Center Overland Park Main Campus
Provides day to day management of the Lifetime Fitness Center (LFC) at JCCC. Provides guidance, vision, leadership, and oversight to the Student Wellness program through planning and organizing events and activities on the JCCC Campus.

This position is responsible for developing and leading Johnson County Community College’s (JCCC) compensation program and initiatives. The Compensation Manager provides strategic input to the development of compensation policies and practices, offers compensation advice and support, and conducts internal and external pay analysis. The role also ensures that JCCC’s compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

Qualified instructors are needed to develop and deliver various contract trainings. Classes are conducted either in a continuing education classroom environment, live online, or at the client site in the morning, afternoon or evening sessions during weekdays or weekends.
CLEAR Program Instructor Overland Park Main Campus
The CLEAR program instructor will teach postsecondary academic, enrichment classes and/or social skills to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a college environment during the CLEAR Saturday program. The instructor is responsible for developing curriculum and providing classroom instruction. This position will be responsible for teaching a cooking class and creating lesson plans utilizing a given curriculum.
ITSM Process and Development Analyst Overland Park Main Campus
The IT Service Management (ITSM) Process and Development Analyst is responsible for defining, implementing and continually improving the ITIL-based service management processes and best practices for managing college IT services. This position combines both process analysis and technical development to improve efficiency and effectiveness of IT service delivery. The ITSM Process and Development Analyst creates and manages service management process flows, while contributing to the development and automation of IT service processes to enhance the reliability, value and efficiency of IT services.

Student Support Technician Overland Park Main Campus
The Student Support Technician serves as the first point-of-contact for JCCC student support. This position is responsible for initial triage and assistance in determining the resolution of student issues, escalation of issues to higher level technical support professionals when necessary, and reporting of trends when requests appear to be out of the ordinary. The Student Support Technician will also be directly involved in the JCCC knowledge management process.
Enterprise Applications Administrator Overland Park Main Campus
