Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Inclusive, Student-Centered Instruction
Design and implement pedagogical strategies that reflect inclusive, student-focused practices to effectively support CWI’s diverse community college population. Maintain a strong record of teaching excellence and responsiveness to student needs.
Develop and Continuously Improve Curriculum and Assessment
Engage in the creation, revision, and ongoing enhancement of course curriculum, content delivery, and assessment methods to ensure academic quality, relevance, and student success.
Contribute to Institutional Engagement and Service
Actively participate in department and college-wide initiatives, service activities, and collaborative efforts that support student achievement, community building, and institutional goals.
Pursue Professional Growth and Strategic Contribution
Collaborate with supervisors to align professional development goals with institutional needs and student success strategies. Continuously seek opportunities to expand one’s expertise and impact within the academic community.
What We're Looking For:
• Master’s degree in Public Health, a related field of study, or a combination of education and experience in the field from an accredited institution
• Experience and a background in Public Health preferred
• Experience teaching classes at the post-secondary level in the field of study
• Ability to adapt to a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, group activities, individual instruction, distance learning, and teaching with technology
• Ability to advise students.
• Proficiency in usage of the internet, email, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications.

**Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
