In this role, you will lead an energetic team while running park events, customer service operations, contracts and maintaining business relationships for all LCRA Parks. We have over 40 parks across Texas, along the Lower Colorado River, that attract outdoor enthusiasts from across the country. Our system has over 70 miles of multi-use trails, various event venues, 60 unique glamping accommodations and over 300 mix-use campsites for visitors to enjoy. You will be trusted to:

- Provide leadership, direction to staff and peers. Hire, train, assign work, evaluate and manage performance, assess compensation of subordinate staff in compliance with company policy and handles all aspects of staff supervision. Maintain awareness of issues and respond to employee needs and concerns.
- Oversee Park Operation activities such as special project and operations budgets, event management, departmental reports, data analysis and team correspondence. Work with senior management to develop and lead strategic goals, KPIs and organizational metrics.
- Stay informed of current industry trends, technology, standards and regulatory requirements and how they apply to LCRA and our parks. Assist in developing and maintaining marketing plans and tools for Parks.
- Develop and present innovative event proposals and delivers strategic presentations to senior leadership. Communicate efficiently with customers, internal teams, and all levels of management ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information.
- Coordinate with other business units and serve as a primary point of contact for inter-departmental activities. Provide overall project and event management, promote collaboration, effective decision-making and the development of solutions.
- Review event or project objectives and ensures that LCRA can meet or exceed those requirements. Coordinate with legal, finance and other operational areas to ensure overall compliance and proper billing of services.
- Assess the business needs of each potential and current customer. Develop a thorough understanding of and insight into the customers’ business needs, operations, processes and strategies.
- Act as the LCRA liaison on projects for assigned customers. Answer customer inquiries, questions, complaints, concerns while assisting with resolutions or approved responses. Ensure that all services are carried out within agreed upon terms and timing schedules to the level expected by both LCRA and the customer.
- Execute permits or agreements for land use, special events and projects.

You qualify with:

- Twelve or more years of experience in account management, project management, customer service or relevant experience. A degree(s) in a relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
