In this role, you will lead, motivate and provide clear direction, as well as manage the daily program of work of your team, focusing on staff performance and ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently to achieve business outcomes. You will ensure adherence to business procedures and processes, manage the workflow, resolve complex issues and manage the region’s portfolio of service residences.

You will contribute to business goals by ensuring operational and financial performance targets are met, including; workforce planning, asset management, contractual requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs) and project management outcomes for the Regional Office.

You will lead a team of Property Managers to deliver high quality customer service outcomes to all stakeholders. You will manage complex maintenance issues, enquiries and complaints in accordance with policy and legislative guidelines, provide accurate advice to internal and external stakeholders and actively develop and maintain working relationships across the organisation that are effective and collaborative.

For this role, we will consider how well you:                                                                                                

  • Have in-depth property management experience within the residential property industry and a proven ability to deliver business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external staff and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team in the provision of high quality customer service to meet organisation/team objectives, including previous experience in developing work plans, team goals and monitoring team performance
  • High level organisational, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, together with sound judgement and high attention to detail.
  • Strong budget management experience, including managing asset-based decisions in the context of commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, show initiative and provide sound business solutions to identified issues.
