Health Care Compliance Officer - Behavioral Health Facilities PHOENIX
Performs work corresponding to the activities within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, Bureau of Behavioral Health Facilities Licensing. Assists with or determines the issuing of licenses to licensed facilities and providers, maintaining current licenses by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Conducts initial and annual inspections of health care institutions and sober living homes regulated by the Department to determine compliance with all applicable regulations. Review of quality systems by tracking documents, corrective actions, and other quality data. Conducts investigations of the operation of a licensed facility or provider upon receiving a complaint or of an unlicensed facility. Performing services that need regulation. Corresponds with the regulated community or with regulatory bodies, responds to technical questions from licensees, develops standards, participates in rule-making, and conducts inspections. Performs, assists or reviews detailed investigative or inspection reports, statements of deficiencies, and correspondence regarding changes in the status of a licensee’s license, or other types of legal orders. The Compliance Officer I position is included in the Department's Compliance Officer Series, which provides a career path and opportunities for advancement if certain additional education, experience, duties, and responsibilities are met.
Maternal Child Health / EPSDT Supervisor REMOTE OPTIONS, PHOENIX
Under the leadership of the Maternal Child Health/EPSDT Manager, this position will provide oversight and monitoring of policies, programs, and activities related to the areas of maternal health, preventive health, family planning, and Early and Periodic, Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment programs (EPSDT), within the Division of Managed Care Services. This includes directly supervising a team of nurse coordinators, directing and delegating work to staff, training of new employees, conducting one on one and team meetings, and identifying and supporting staff and team goals and professional development. This position will be responsible for health plan compliance reviews and activities, technical assistance provided to health plans and providers, and representing the Agency at various meetings, conferences, and events, as well as representing the MCH/EPSDT unit internally, along with, or in the absence of the manager.

The Project Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Bureau of EMS and Trauma System’s Certificate of Necessity (CON) and Enforcement sections. This position ensures the efficient processing of regulatory casework, correspondence, and documentation in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) Title 36, Chapter 21.1, and Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) Title 9, Chapter 25. This position serves as the primary on-site support for the Bureau’s regulatory operations, requiring regular in-office presence to manage daily mail, receive and process check deposits, prepare outgoing correspondence, and maintain case files and records. The incumbent supports section staff who work in hybrid or remote environments by coordinating document flow, scanning and uploading case materials, and ensuring timely communication and task completion across teams.
