The Department of Economic Security, Division of Business Services, Office of Professional Development, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as an Instructional Designer. This position will be responsible for the development of an agency-wide training curriculum for delivery to Department employees; collaborates with Department leadership regarding employee training, development, and accomplishments, and coordinates computer-based training as needed, including outreach or special events; and assesses present and future needs to develop educational goals and objectives, initiates related curriculum, instructor guides, reports, and correspondence, and prepares audio and visual materials related to the assigned training areas.
Senior Insurance Analyst REMOTE OPTIONS, PHOENIX
The Senior Insurance Analyst is responsible for reviewing various types of complex insurance filings for administrative completeness and substantive compliance. Filings to be reviewed may include a variety of types of insurance, including life and health, property and casualty insurance and service contract products. The Analyst will need to maintain electronic filing systems within the Product Filing and Compliance Division, including ensuring compliance with state record retention laws and schedules, and responding to public records requests. The position maintains expert knowledge of, and determines compliance with both Arizona and Federal laws and regulations applicable to various types of insurance policy forms, contracts, rates, rating methods, underwriting rules and advertising filed with the Department. This includes protecting Arizona consumers from misleading, ambiguous or deceptive insurance products; responding to technical questions from filers, Department employees, and the public; corresponding verbally and in writing with insurers and others; developing and implementing system improvements; and recommending changes to department procedures, forms, instructions, and other information. Communicate effectively and promptly in a remote work environment.
Insurance Compliance Technician REMOTE OPTIONS, PHOENIX
The Insurance Compliance Technician performs administrative work of average difficulty under general supervisor of the Chief Financial Compliance Officer. Coordinate and oversee activities of the Solvency Support Unit operations and functions in a manner that supports the goals and priorities of the Solvency Regulation Program. Receive and review renewal filings, and issue renewal licenses of insurance related entities. Provide authoritative information regarding statutory filing requirements, procedures and standards prescribed in Arizona Insurance Laws, Rules, written agency guidelines and NAIC publications. Assist with preparation of a variety of operational reports. Conduct research and prepare routine reports. Prepare a variety of correspondence. Design, revise and consolidate agency forms.
