| The Occupational Safety Consultant assists in the management, planning, coordination, and evaluation of the Department’s occupational safety and health program, performing tasks such as providing guidance to DES employees on the evacuation process, overseeing emergency action plan and procedure updates and environmental testing before and after tenant improvements and demolition projects, investigating work environments and safety equipment for conditions of compliance, and enforcing State and Federal Occupational Safety and Health standards, regulations, laws, rules, and codes. This position will be required to travel and/or drive for State business. |
