Flight Training Manager II Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Flight Training Manager II is responsible for the effective conduct of all University flight lab courses. Reporting to the Director of Aerospace – Airport Operations, this position directly supervises Assistant Flight Training Manager(s) and staff flight instructors in the administration of these courses. Serves as a liaison to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) related to flight training operations. Performs stage checks, end-of-course checks, flight instructor upgrades, and ground training for flights, as required. Develops, manages, and updates training course outlines. Teaches Flight Instructor Fundamentals course; assignment to teach this course may vary by term based on departmental needs. Coordinates with the Director of Aerospace – Airport Operations to determine and forecast the current and future needs of the Flight Training Program. Performs administrative tasks related to flight training operations and other duties as assigned.

Coordinator - Basketball Relations Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Coordinator of Women's Basketball Relations and Player Development will work directly with the Head Coach to develop a quality NCAA Division I Women's Basketball program. The position will assist the Head Women's Basketball coach organize and administer all aspects of our NCAA Division I women's basketball program by providing day to day coaching of student athletes at practice and games, develop and instruct individual skill instruction and recruit academically sound and competitive student athletes.*Essential tasks will include but not be limited to: oversight of day to day correspondence with university officials, oversight of daily on going recruiting activities, community outreach and community service projects and NCAA Life Skill programs developed for our women's basketball athletes. The Coordinator will develop and oversee programs for the maturation of our women's basketball athletes and assist them as they prepare to be productive members of the university and the community at large. The Coordinator will work with community leaders to garner continued financial support for the basketball program and establish cooperative agreements; oversee all aspects of team travel and community outreach at home or at away events; coordinate hotel accommodations for team and official recruit visits and recruit travel; set meals, activities and entertainment with designated home official visits and hotels; reserve women's basketball meeting space for women's basketball functions at the university and off campus events. The Coordinator will oversee all coordination of required charter bus and air transportation; and team equipment transportation for away trips. Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Director - Academic Support and Retention Murfreesboro, Tennessee
The Director of Academic Support and Retention Programs is responsible for leading, managing, and overseeing academic learning support components (such as tutoring and supplemental instruction) and retention programs. This role ensures that programs align with institutional goals to enhance student learning, persistence, and degree completion. The Recruitment and Engagement Specialist will share program information with prospective MTSU education students and their families across the state. The Specialist will also connect prospective students with the MTSU admissions department to help them complete the admissions, enrollment, and financial aid processes necessary for acceptance into MTSU. Additionally, the Recruitment and Engagement Specialist will implement strategies to attract prospective education students, introducing them to the various Educator Pathways and initiatives offered by the College of Education, including the Tennessee Teach Back Initiative (TTBI). Key responsibilities include: - Visiting high schools - Sending emails to school counselors - Compiling a database of potential students to support the retention of COE students and TTBI scholars The specialist will also connect prospective education students with available support services from MTSU and external partners to help them meet licensure requirements. This includes providing access to tutoring services, mentoring, assessment support, and mental health resources. Furthermore, the Recruitment and Engagement Specialist will oversee programming designed to ensure the success of all College of Education (COE) students, including TTBI scholars. Ultimately, this role focuses on recruiting prospective students and growing COE enrollment and the TTBI program overall. It also measures students' success by tracking their persistence, retention, and completion rates.

The work order system is a critical resource in the Facilities Services Department (FSD). This office processes work requests for maintenance activities from individuals all across campus and assists in evaluating the effectiveness of the maintenance activities. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will report to the Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine. The position will supervise and coordinate athletic training services for student-athletes in intercollegiate athletic programs – primarily men’s and women’s cross country and men’s and women’s track & field. Essential duties include but are not limited to assisting with the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, physician referral, and medical documentation of all injuries associated with assigned student-athletes; communicating with coaches, student-athletes, parents, staff, and physicians within NATA and HIPAA guidelines; observe all athletic policy and procedures in accordance with NATA regulations as well as NCAA, Conference USA, and MTSU rules and remain certified to perform these duties daily. Serve as an approved preceptor within the CAATE-accredited graduate athletic training program. Provide direct supervision of intern athletic trainers and/or graduate assistant athletic trainers for assigned sports and graduate athletic training students in the athletic training education program; instruct these students in professional prevention, care, and rehabilitation of assigned student-athletes, as well as the certification and licensure process.
