Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor Perkins and assigned grant budgets; track expenditures and balances on a regular schedule.
• Assist the Director of Grants Administration and Finance with budget revisions, reallocations, and year-end closeout processes.
• Prepare routine financial status updates for internal stakeholders.
• Manage the implementation of allowed and approved activities in the Perkins V grants.
• Enter and process requisitions for purchasing, supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with LDCC and LCTCS procedures.
• Secure and route contracts for professional services, ensuring required documentation, internal approvals, and adherence to established procurement guidelines.
• Maintain purchasing logs, receipt documentation, and audit-ready records for all assigned grants.
• Manage and organize project documentation, Teams folders, and grant files to ensure compliance and accessibility.
• Assist with gathering and organizing data for state and federal reporting, including Perkins V reporting requirements, and for new grant applications.
• Support the coordination and preparation of Perkins meetings, CLNA development, program reviews, and related documentation.
• Assist with the management of the IWTP (Incumbent Worker Training Program) portal, applications, and reimbursements, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
• Provide administrative support during monitoring visits, audits, and compliance checks.
• Assist with identifying process improvements for documentation and workflow systems.
• Support alignment of expenditures and activities with approved grant workplans and allowable-cost guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Academic Affairs, Workforce, and other departments involved in grant implementation.
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor or college leadership.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in business, education, public administration, accounting, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in grants, budgeting, procurement, accounting support, or administrative management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and database/document management systems.
Required Experience:
• Experience working with Perkins V or Career & Technical Education grants.
• Experience within higher education or the Louisiana Community & Technical College System (LCTCS).
• Familiarity with state procurement, contracting procedures, and grants compliance.
