The Director of Financial Aid leads, manages, and ensures the integrity of all financial aid operations, including federal and state programs. The Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of the Executive Director Facilities Planning and Management. The supervisor is responsible for the staff of Facilities Maintenance who perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, HVAC, and other machine and electrical servicing for SOWELA. The supervisor is also responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing specialized facilities management services, while ensuring the campus buildings, grounds, systems, equipment, and supplies are maintained. The scope of work includes completing preventative maintenance schedules as well as restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Creating and delivering reports, presentations, trainings, and other communication are essential functions.
Instructor – Industrial Mechanics for Millwrights and Machinists - 10 Month	SOWELA	Lake Charles, LA
The Industrial Mechanics for Millwrights and Machinists Instructor is responsible for instructing students to set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments, including work commonly performed by Millwrights and Machinists. This includes precision instrument makers who fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments. Instruct students on how to fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools, install and align equipment, and maintain industrial machines by applying knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
Instructor - Construction Management	BRCC	Baton Rouge, LA
Full-time faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned, student advisement and involvement in student related activities, college and community service, professional development and promotion of a collegial atmosphere. Faculty report directly to department chair within their respective departments and divisions. Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed.

Louisiana Delta Community College seeks an instructor to teach Electrical Technology at the Franklin Parish Detention Center. This instructor prepares individuals for entry-level employment in the electrical field by providing instruction in fundamental electrical theory, installation practices, and safety procedures used in residential and commercial electrical systems. Instruction includes topics such as electrical safety, electrical theory, blueprint reading, National Electrical Code (NEC) fundamentals, wiring methods, conduit bending, electrical tools and equipment, circuits, motors and controls, residential wiring, and troubleshooting techniques. The instructor will deliver classroom and hands-on training designed to equip students with workforce-ready skills and industry-recognized credentials while supporting the educational mission of Louisiana Delta Community College. The instructor will also work within the correctional education environment to provide meaningful training opportunities that support workforce readiness, personal growth, and successful reentry into the community.
