We’re on the lookout for passionate and proactive Casual Workforce Support Officers to join our dynamic Workforce Team and help keep vital services running smoothly across the country.


Workforce Support Officer (Casual)

  • Location: Newcastle (Work from home available once trained)
  • On Call – Mostly After Hours
  • 4 Weeks Paid Full-Time Training Provided

About the Role

This is your chance to be the engine behind the scenes, supporting our national operations team with critical rostering and workforce coordination. You’ll help ensure that our customers receive the consistent, high-quality support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain operational rosters for all services, balancing customer needs with financial and award requirements
  • Manage leave and temporary shift changes, including engaging agencies where needed
  • Respond to phone and email queries around rostering with empathy and accuracy
  • Identify rostering gaps and help develop practical solutions
  • Contribute to improving systems, culture, and processes in a fast-paced support environment

About You

You're a natural problem solver with a cool head under pressure and a passion for making things work – even when they get complex.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Experience in 24/7 rostering or resourcing roles
  • Knowledge of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Bonus if you’ve used Emplive, Whispir, or Genesys
  • A strong sense of organisation and ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to calmly manage calls, including de-escalations
  • A collaborative spirit with a focus on outcomes for people, teams, and the organisation
