The basics of this position:
This position is for the Fall 2025. This Faculty-Physical Therapist Assistant position is also the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) and is responsible for providing PTA students with quality Level 1 through Level 3 clinical opportunities. The DCE develops, coordinates, and monitors programming related to student clinical experiences. Additionally, the PTA faculty are responsible for classroom instruction; providing for, encouraging and facilitating student learning; college service; and professional development.
What you'll do:
- The Director of Clinical Education (DCE) is responsible for ensuring the program's compliance with the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) clinical education requirements and collaborating with clinical coordinators to ensure that clinical experiences meet the STLCC PTA Program's objectives.

Education, experience, and other requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with at least three (3) years of clinical practice experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) or a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Missouri.
• Current driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
• Clinical educator experience
• Site Coordinator of Clinical Education experience
• Teaching Experience
• Current APTA member
