As a human resources (HR) administrative coordinator, you will complete and send out Status Change Forms (SCFs), employee exit packets, and promotion or transition letters to employee performance success managers (EPSM). You will support logistics, planning, and event execution for new hire orientations. Among other duties, you will pull and format job descriptions from the employee database and ensure data is accurately updated. Responsibilities include the preparation and distribution of employee exit forms for an EPSM team, assistance with the weekly employee headcount request process, and logging and tracking additional work requests. Additionally, you will record substitute pay in an Excel spreadsheet, organize and maintain personnel records, and retrieve employee or position information for an EPSM upon request.

In this role, you will prepare training materials and extract and send EPSM student evaluations upon request. You will track employee exit processes by ensuring all SCAD property is returned and sending the clearance email. Additionally, you will record and update the client groups list for the EPSM team and provide project management support. Responsibilities include the organization and maintenance of shared electronic folders, filing correspondence, and pulling reports during annual staff and faculty evaluation cycles. Among other duties, you will use SCAD’s ecommerce system for reimbursements and travel expenses, purchase office supplies, and request maintenance as needed.

In this role, you will support the talent partner team in creating positive recruitment experiences for candidates. You will coordinate on-site interview logistics, including developing itineraries, securing necessary room reservations, and organizing campus tours. You will also escort candidates to various SCAD buildings that match their disciplines. Additionally, you will personalize guest experiences and highlight SCAD benefits and perks, such as SCADfit and SCAD dining facilities. When needed, you will attend luncheons and guest teaching demonstrations with candidates. You will also collaborate with HR and hiring managers to implement best practices for hosting candidates.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They can quickly learn new computer systems and keep accurate records. The candidate also shows strong discipline, honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.

Minimum qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one year of related professional experience
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft 365 software suite, Banner, or a similar database

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record

Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
