| As the kitchen manager of Gryphon, you will ensure that all food is prepared and served consistently according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. You will oversee inventory orders and deliveries to maintain the quality of food products and ensure that food costs are managed through standard recipes and waste control, which includes proper food holding and refrigeration temperatures. Additionally, you will collaborate with the general manager to plan and price menu items, establish portion sizes, and prepare standard recipe cards for all new menus. |

| As an executive chef at Bobbie’s, you will oversee kitchen operations and manage inventory, ensuring cost efficiency without sacrificing quality. You will uphold food safety regulations, including handling and preparation standards. You will also set food service and presentation standards. Among other duties, you will create a menu that accommodates diverse dietary needs, mentoring kitchen staff, and create a team-oriented environment that promotes growth. Responsibilities include the implementation of staff trainings related to cooking techniques, food safety, and service excellence. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with front-of-house managers and staff. You will plan and execute catering for special events and oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities. |

Front of House Manager

| As a front-of-house manager at Bobbie’s, you will ensure that staff are prepared, focused, and motivated to deliver the best possible customer service. You will establish and maintain clear communication between the kitchen and the servers and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. Among other responsibilities, you will train, discipline, and evaluate staff, providing feedback to improve performance. You will also oversee cash transactions, including refunds, discounts, and comps. You may be assigned additional duties at any time. |

Safety Officer

| Providing a safe learning environment for our students, staff and faculty is the core function of the SCAD Department of University Safety. Safety officers will work at various locations and roles throughout the Savannah and Atlanta campuses.
Safety Officer positions include patrol officer and fixed post officer. In both of these roles, responsibilities include deterring undesirable behaviors, writing and inputting reports, conducting visual inspections of facilities, directing traffic, responding to radio calls as needed, calling in safety concerns, completing visual inspections and observing occurrences of areas being patrolled. |
