Safety Officer Savannah
Providing a safe learning environment for our students, staff and faculty is the core function of the SCAD Department of University Safety. Safety officers will work at various locations and roles throughout the Savannah and Atlanta campuses. Safety Officer positions include patrol officer and fixed post officer. In both of these roles, responsibilities include deterring undesirable behaviors, writing and inputting reports, conducting visual inspections of facilities, directing traffic, responding to radio calls as needed, calling in safety concerns, completing visual inspections and observing occurrences of areas being patrolled.
University Safety Operations Center Specialist Savannah
SCAD Savannah seeks a university safety operations center specialist to monitor SCAD safety software applications and closed-circuit television systems to detect and deter criminal activity.
Kitchen Lead Savannah
As a kitchen lead, you will oversee daily opening and closing procedures and guide the team in food storing, preparation, and cooking. You will set up the line prior to service, set up mise en place, work on station with the executive chef and cooks during service, and ensure proper back stock of food products and utensils. You will also maintain a clean environment throughout the shift and for the next day. Among other duties, you will maintain food safety standards and personal hygiene to ensure safe food practices.
