Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Director for the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement provides vision, leadership, and assessment for programming and services focused on student development, recruitment & retention, global engagement, and a sense of belonging for the EKU community. The Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement and works in collaboration with university administrators, faculty, staff, and students to develop, implement, and assess CIEGE initiatives. The Director will collaborate across campus to ensure a sense of belonging for students through recruitment, retention, and engagement initiatives and will develop and track success metrics for student belonging. The Director will connect with and build relationships with community partners, alumni, and donors to advance the mission of the CIEGE. Additionally, the Director will provide guidance to faculty, staff, and students through individual and group interaction. The incumbent should be highly collaborative with a record of relationship building, resource management, and personnel management. Position will require occasional night and weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree required. Degree in educational administration, student affairs, counseling, or related field is preferred.
Experience: Five years of experience in programming administration and/or coordination in areas related to retention, inclusive excellence, and/or sense of belonging required.

Job Duties:
- 35% - Manage the day-to-day operations of the Center for Inclusive Excellence and Global Engagement - (Essential)
- 30% - Design, coordinate, implement, and assess programming, leadership, engagement, and mentoring initiatives to improve the engagement, retention, and sense of belonging for faculty, staff, and students. - (Essential)
- 15% - Plan and implement programming to celebrate and promote cultural awareness for students, faculty, and staff and ensure successful design and implementation of international student support programs and services. - (Essential)
- 10% - Collaborate with campus partners to ensure a meaningful and engaging visit experience for prospective and admitted students, including admission and orientation events. - (Essential)
- 5% - Serve as a programming resource for student groups and advise student organizations as appropriate. - (Essential)
- 5% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
